Moses Osazee
Wilserhun never thought that one day he’d grow up
and become a music artist making an impact on the world through his lyrics. To
Moses, the impossible became reality – Weirdz was born! Born in Nigeria in
December 1989, Moses Osazee Wilserhun a.k.a Weirdz had a challenging start in
life. Being the oldest of a family held together only by his mother, Weirdz
took on a lot of responsibility as both a brother and son and as a father
figure to his younger siblings. He had no choice but to grow up quickly.
However, the one thing that kept him going when times got tough was his passion
for music. Starting his early life as a chorister in a church choir, Weirdz
talent began to shine through and he was soon made head of the children’s
choral group and eventually got the confidence to act in stage drama. During
Weirdz younger years, he also lived another life - on the street. It was here
that he earned his unique nickname Wizard (Weirdz). Street life was far from
easy as each day brought a new struggle and over the years, Weirdz loved and
lost many friends. As time went by, Weirdz realized that music was his way of
escaping everyday life. He drew inspiration from his experiences, both good and
bad, and he channeled his energy into his music. He knew that he had two
choices – to continue his life of destruction and heartache on the street or
fulfill his ambition and become a music artist. This was a turning point in
Weirdz life – when he realized it was time to start living the dream. Weidz is
now an acclaimed artist and is preaching his word through his musical
creations. With the fantastic success of his first single ‘Posh Flush’, he has
gained strong credibility for his individual sound and musical flair. The
future looks bright for the new Wizard of music as Weirdz promises bigger and
better things to come.
